£15 a month, whoever you are — a student with a first recital or a soloist with a full diary, a quartet or a festival. Every site is the whole product: every page, a real preview of your own site before any payment, and every update made by conversation.
The price
One price for every act. First month free, cancel any time.
A quartet's site is usually one person's job, and a group is often quieter than a soloist — seasonal, occasional, sometimes formed for a run of recordings and then resting. Charging the group more priced work that isn't there, and gave you a table to read before you could buy. So there is no table. Whatever the size of the act, it's £15/month.
There is nothing hidden behind a higher tier. When there are things worth adding — and there will be — they will be add-ons you choose, never a bigger version of the same product.
The price is stated in 2026 money and follows inflation, nothing else: reviewed once a year against UK CPI, rounded to the pound, and announced before it changes. It never changes mid-subscription, and it never changes because you got busier, added a player or released a disc.
The same product wears differently on different acts. Same price, whichever door you come through.
Soloists
Everything a one-musician career needs: every page, your own colours and lettering, your own domain.
Groups
One subscription for the whole group — same price as a soloist, and any member can edit by chat.
Organisations
More hands and a bigger season at the same price — the conversation scales, the bill doesn't.
Every site, every act
First month free, cancel any time. Every site is edited by conversation — send the date, the review, the photo, and it's placed and formatted — and nothing goes public until you press Publish.
Your site is a folder of plain web files. Download the whole thing as a zip whenever you like — pages, images, everything — and host it anywhere. Nothing held hostage.
There is one subscription, £15/month for every act, first month free. Referrals reduce what you pay: send another act our way and your own subscription gets cheaper.
Every published Obio site is also a starting point. Anyone can begin from the shape of yours: the pages, the sections and their order, how many of each, with none of your words, photographs, logos, dates, links or files. When somebody does, your subscription gets cheaper, the same as a referral. This is part of what you sign up to, so it is said here rather than in small print. What travels, and what never does →
A copy is the skeleton of a published site. It carries the set of pages, the sections on each and the order they sit in, how many diary entries, records, albums, works and members there are (up to a handful of each), the shape of every photograph as a blank placeholder in the design's own colours, and your light-or-dark setting. It carries nothing you wrote, uploaded or linked: no words, no photographs, no logo, no dates, no addresses, no files, no press kit, no unpublished pages and no name. The copy starts with placeholder text in every one of those places, the same as a brand-new site.
You can see exactly what would travel: it is published beside your site at /.obio/skeleton.json.
